Merit Scholarship

 For 2023, due the the festival being cancelled for the past 3 years due to Covid, we are unable to offer scholarships.  If we receive donations aimed at scholarships, we will revisit this decision.

We have created a new procedure for participants who wish to apply for a scholarship. There is a limited amount of Scholarship funds available. Our goal is to help as many deserving womyn as we can. Please follow the steps below if you are in need of financial assistance..

 

What you can expect from us.
  Be assured that any information you disclose will be kept confidential. We will be as fair as possible when making our decision on WWG Merit Scholarship recipients.
 

What we expect from you.
   We ask that you consider your answers carefully and move into your heart and highest self before setting fingers to keyboard. We are building a strong, sustainable womyn's community and ask that you participate in this process honestly. Ours funds are limited and we truly wish to extend the unique opportunity that is Where Womyn Gather to as many womyn as possible. We are grateful for your interest in attending our festival and being part of this wonderful, transformative spiritual event.

 

Instructions

1. Submit your completed form to us as soon as possible. We receive numerous request and want to give each application due consideration.

2. You may receive a phone call for a brief phone interview or to clarify any questions we may have.  Please be sure that your contact information is correct.  If we need to, and can't reach you, we may have to deny your application.

3. To spread limited scholarship funds as far as possible, our goal is to offer partial WWG Merit Scholarships ranging from 25% to 75% of the lowest registration fee which is $395, based on the information you have provided. You will be emailed with your acceptance/denial and the amount of your Merit Scholarship on or about April 15th.
4. If approved, you will be billed via Paypal any balance due for your registration. Please either pay online via Paypal or send a check to: Where Womyn Gather, P.O. Box 122, Monmouth Beach, NJ  07750, within 14 days. Regretfully, if we do not receive your payment on time, your Merit Scholarship will be offered to the next womyn on the list.
